Spanned guard system for perimeter areas SGSP
Purpose
The spanned guard system for perimeter areas (hereinafter referred to as SGSP or system) is designed as alarm fence along the object perimeter used to generate alarm signals under an attempted unauthorized penetration.
SGSP can de used as
- the second guard frontier of the perimeter area, the first frontier being available;
- the guard frontier of local zone;
Operating principle
The basis for the system operation is the detection of mechanical action on the guarded zone fence. The system generates alarm signals under any attempted penetration by climbing over the fence or system components destruction and displacement.
SGSP is a stationary, multiposition, passive, and multizone system of large range. The SGSP basic component and its additional components (gates, wickets, etc.) make it possible to arrange the perimeter guard system of different configuration and purpose.

Based on the SGSP test results it is a good practice to use the system as the second guard frontier along the perimeter of the objects of the Russia Ministry of Defense of high category and category 1, the objects with severe electromagnetic conditions being included. Because of the modular construction the system can be used along the irregular-shaped perimeters and can be easily added to the existing portion of the SGSP module without its reconstruction.
